DAVID BOYER FOR ASSESSOR
I entered this race because I believe, at some point, voters expect to be served by the person they elected, not by someone delegated the job.
My name is David Boyer. As a Deputy Assessor in the Assessor’s Office the past five years, I know our current Assessor, Tom Bordonaro, is rarely in the office but, he claims it is running just fine without him.
The Assessor is the Taxpayer’s representative in the office. And, I want to represent you. Recruiting the right people and setting policy are important but, I believe, being accountable to you also requires being in the office, engaged in what is going on, and accessible to you.
My experience as an Advanced Certified Property Tax Appraiser, a licensed Architect and practical knowledge as a licensed General Building Contractor, provide a well-rounded background I will draw from in serving you.
I support Prop 13 and pledge to be mindful of you when making changes to your values to ensure they are predictable and that your property is not overvalued.
I pledge to be in the office, day in and day out, representing you.
I would sincerely appreciate your support and your vote on June 5th.
I believe this is the time to elect a knowledgeable and enthusiastic new candidate for the office of County Assessor.
David is smart, hard working and would make an excellent Assessor!
I am glad to recommend David to take on the task of serving the citizens of San Luis Obispo County in the role of Assessor.
David has a great work ethic and a strong knowledge of the Assessor’s Office duties… I will be voting for him!
David would be fair and impartial toward taxpayers, without a political agenda.
I will be voting for David Boyer because I know he has the interests of taxpayers at heart.
